Mayonnaise is a polarizing condiment… and I totally get why. I don’t blame anyone who shies away from this repulsive, emulsified concoction of raw eggs, sugar, and vinegar… because it literally sounds disgusting. But mayonnaise has such a sweet, delicious flavor that simply can’t be replaced.
Luckily, we’ve all been #blessed by the existence of vegan mayo. While vegan mayo doesn’t change the whole consistency issue many people have, at least it doesn’t contain raw eggs. No eggs = much less gag-factor.
I’m more comfortable not consuming raw eggs, but is vegan mayo healthier than traditional mayo? Not necessarily.
